2342.04 - Responsibility
4. Conduct on-site spot checks of operation and maintenance, as necessary, based on a
holder's performance history and adequacy of their inspection and maintenance documentation
processes.
a. Require compliance with terms of the special-use permit.
b. Furnish satisfactory public service at reasonable rates, as needed.
c. Resolve conflicts with other uses.
d. Preserve the forest character of the site.
6. Periodically meet with holders providing service to the public to review their
operation and maintenance program.
a. Protect public health and safety.
b. Assure equal access to persons with disabilities.
c. Assure compliance with non-discrimination laws.

2344.03 - Policy
2. Require holders to operate and maintain the facilities and provide the services as
specified in the prospectus, the special-use authorization, and listed under specific types of uses.

3. Ensure the posting of a nondiscrimination poster at all public recreation sites (FSM
1782). A metal sign is available from GSA (order: Forest Service Metal Sign No. 27-8, GSA
No. SN 9905.00-100-8977).
