Forest Supervisors are authorized to execute interagency agreements with other Federal agencies which do not involve a new type of service as described in FSM 6512.12. See FSM 1230 for any additional delegation restrictions. 1588 - MEMORANDUMS OF UNDERSTANDING 1588.04 - Responsibility. Forest Supervisors shall determine whether to restrict execution authority of memorandums of understanding to the National Forest level. Each memorandum of understanding executed needs to be administered and controlled at the Forest level using the procedures described in FSH 1509.11, Section 72, Region 6 supplement. Forest Supervisors will supplement these instructions. Regional master memorandums of understanding shall be executed by the Regional Forester or designated acting (R-6 supplement to FSM 1236.14).
