At first circuit will be made on bread board and the circuit will be soldered on PCB (perforated). Participants have to return the bread board after workshop. Maximum 32 application will be accepted for this on the basis of first-come first-serve. All matches will be played on computers. Any other use of map or program bugs can result in a warning at the minimum or loss by default for the offending team after deliberation and decision by the board of referees at its sole discretion. GENERAL RULES: Max of 32 players will be selected. It is first-come first-serve. 1st Round: Circuit Race with 2 Laps. Quarter final & Semi Final: 2 Sprint and 1 circuit (Best of 2 will be selected). Final: Circuit with 3 Laps. At the end of each match, players must maintain the final screens and receive confirmation from the referee. Winning a Race in Sprint: The winner in the sprint race has to complete it. If in a sprint race we are allowing a winner and runner up, the runner up does not complete it within the “HURRY 25 SECS”, he will be chosen according to his position in the sprint. Participants will be divided into several groups according to the number of available candidates. Topics mainly related to technology will be given & allowed to discuss within certain time duration. Time given to each group will be 10 minutes. Individuals will be selected from each group accordingly. All the presented papers must be related to the field of Engineering (ECE, EE, IT, CSE and Civil Engineering). Only one author of each paper can present the paper. Same author of more than one paper can present maximum two numbers of paper. The presentation should comprise of the entire explanation of individual topics attempted. Contestants will be provided a time limit of 10 minutes for presentation, and 5 minutes for question round on the respected topic. Few selected paper(s) will be published in the Science & Technology journal, Mizoram University but after thorough review process. Authors of selected paper(s) need to update their paper based on the reviewer comments before publishing it to Science & Technology Journal, Mizoram University. There can be groups comprising of not more than 3 members/group. The models presented in the Exhibition will be divided into two groups, viz, seniors (Graduate or above), juniors (Class IX – Class XII). The models which are to be presented at the exhibition by the contestants, should mostly be related to science and technology, new innovations, electronics, or any prototype. New ideas and innovations are highly appreciated. The models presented, will be returned to the respective candidates or groups after the commencement of the exhibition. The groups have to present their models and explain clearly, the working principal of the machine built. If the model made by the contestant has no links with the topics provided, it might not be eligible for the exhibition. 1st prize: Junior- ` 1600/- Senior – ` 2000/2nd prize: Junior- ` 1000/- Senior – ` 1500/3rd prize: Junior- ` 600/Senior – ` 1000/Consolation prize ` 200/- per group will be given to remaining groups (both senior and junior). QUIZ COMPETITION A registration fee of ` 50/- per group is required. The maximum no. of teams allowed is 16. Each team must be comprise of 3 members each. Only team entries are allowed. Participants shall not be allowed to use mobile phones or other electronic instruments. The questions shall be in the form of multiple choices specific answer questions and picture identification. Replacement of any participant of team is not allowed after registration. The decision of judges/experts will be final and will not be subjected to any change. Note: In case of more than 16 teams registered, one written/screening test will be conducted prior to the starting of quiz competition. For each correct answer audience will be awarded a pen. Final Round: Round 1 (Transfer round): 1. MCQ will be asked to each team in first cycle. This cycle will be repeated 2 times for each of below mentioned sub rounds. 2. For every question 20 sec will be given to answer. 3. For every correct answer 20 marks will be awarded and for every incorrect answer 10 points will be deducted. 4. This is passable round. Question will be passed to next team. For every correct answer 10 points will be awarded, 5 points will be deducted for wrong answer. Each team will be shown 2 pictures on the screen. No option will be given. 2. 10 sec will be given to answer the question. 3. For every correct answer 10 points will be awarded.
