Carbon Capture and Sequestration
The next Discussion Forum on Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) will
be held on Friday 12 November at 15h00 in the Auditorium of the Nelson
Mandela Gateway at the Clock Tower Precinct, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.
Dr Louis de Lange of Sudereco will discuss the conversion of biomass and
waste to energy and biochar while Dr Tony Surridge of SANERI will discuss
conventional CCS, the South African Carbon Geological Storage Atlas and the
South African Centre for Carbon Capture & Storage.
All academic staff and students, representatives from the public and
private sectors as well as the general public are welcome to attend.
There will be a small reception afterwards.
