Description
The CCP1832 Combination Connection Pedestal is an above-ground stake-mounted lowprofile metallic enclosure for housing a combination of distribution equipment including
coaxial, twisted pair copper, and/or fiber distribution.
Designed with two separate compartments, the CCP1832 provides neat and efficient use
of multiple distribution facilities, yet offers complete craft separation between the two.
The CCP1832 mounts both active and passive equipment. The CATV chamber contains an
offset rod spanning the length of the unit, for strand mounting equipment. For heat dissipation of active components, the CATV chamber's cover features four banks of screened
louvers. The telco chamber contains a pivoting universal mounting plate for mounting
fixed count terminal blocks.
Because multiple facilities are housed in one low-profile design, CCP1832 offers economic
and aesthetic benefits over standard installations. Our unique multistage gray-green finishing process meets or exceeds EPA standards, and provides a tough corrosion-resistant
finish for longer life.
Application
The CCP1832 serves as an outdoor aboveground low-profile housing for joint
installation of active/passive coaxial, copper and/or fiber distribution facilities and
equipment, such as line extenders, amplifiers, taps, splitters, splice modules, terminal
blocks, splice cases, etc. The CCP1832 is
designed for joint trenching applications,
co-location requirements, and for providers of both voice and video services in new
and rehab installations for all customers.
