Description
The 2376, 2377, 2378 series of rotating terminal blocks provide termination, circuit identification, and cable spreading functions. All jumper connections are completed on the
front-facing termination field. Block termination types are as follows:
2376 blocks - single wire-wrap pins
2377 blocks - bifurcated quick-clip terminals
2378 blocks - bifurcated wire-wrap pins
The rear terminal fields of the 237 series are wire-wrap pins. These blocks are available
non-connectorized for field termination of cables, and connectorized for quick termination of connectorized cable. A variety of pin configurations and wire pair capacities may be
selected to ensure an optimum match with customer equipment.
All 237 series terminal blocks are molded from thermoplastics with a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. Front wires are protected by heavy gauge plastic covers to prevent accidental
contact with live circuits. Color-coded cover labels are available to identify the varying
equipment applications.
The terminal fields of the 237 series terminal blocks have a locking latch system that
allows rotation between three fixed positions for easy field termination and access to terminate tie cables on connectorized versions. A slotted fanning strip organizes jumpering.
Application
The 2376, 2377, 2378 series rotating
terminal blocks are used on CODS2, 2500
Frame, and RDS frame systems for termination of telco equipment and outside plant
equipment. Single wire-wraps, bifurcated
quick-clips, and bifurcated wire-wrap
terminals are available, as well as connectorized and non-connectorized versions.
