Avocent professional services are ready to help you take the
guess work out of your DCIM implementation, integration or
customization. If you are a new customer that is looking to
implement the solution for the first time, the Avocent service
organization can install and configure the software and PDUs
for you. This will reduce setup time and installation errors and
minimize the impact on resources.
One of the many features of Rack Power Manager is the open
data base framework. The open structure of the data base
allows for easier software integration. Integration between
the systems and tools you use to run your data center is the
key to streamlining operations. But knowing how to quickly
and successfully design and implement integration between so
many different systems is a complex job that can eat up time
and money.

data in real time between your Rack Power Manager and

New Implementation:
For new Rack Power Manager customers, the professional services team is available for installing and
configuring the software. This can be coupled with PDU installation if needed.
Database Integration:
The database framework of Rack Power Manager gives the customer the flexibility of sharing the captured real
power metrics between other solutions such as Avocent’s Data Center Planner. This framework also provides
Avocent services an integration point to create custom reports based on the needs of the business.
