Background
Process
Pall QPData is a web based software program that manages
Pall QPoint™, Pall-Aquasafe™ and Pall Kleenpak™ disposable
water filter installation and exchange. This software also provides
automatic wireless data transmission, storage and water filter
traceability in order to manage multiple water outlets.
Data is captured at the point-of-use location through use of
barcoding and an iOS compatible Smartphone with supported
barcode scanner. Data is sent via wireless connection to the
dedicated secure web location. Protected, multi-level access to this
area can be made via any internet enabled PC in order to review
and export data to Excel. Archive data remains on the internet site
for the duration of the service and support agreement, and/or may
be downloaded to file, disc or paper copy in the supported reporting
formats in order to meet local audit requirements as appropriate.
QPData is a dedicated software suite designed, developed
and validated for the process management and audit of Pall’s
disposable point-of-use water filters:

Manage water outlet locations

Monitor the duration of Pall point-of-use water filters

Ensure timely water filter exchange notification, and log time critical processes

Provide compliant traceability of point-of-use water filters to
outlet locations

Deliver task lists for efficient resourcing of water filter
exchange management
Work lists may be downloaded direct to the appropriate enabled
Smartphone(s) to ensure timely exchange of water filters and
activities at the point-of-use can be tailored.
Custom Service and Support
Each water system within buildings has a unique mix of
requirements regarding the use of water filters. QPData has been
developed to support the needs of the user in an automatic and
seamless process.
QPData is custom software developed for Pall Medical by
Microsec Ltd. Microsec’s Quality Management System is certified to
ISO 9001: 2008 and TickIT, and is audited twice a year
by BSI TickIT accredited auditors. QPData is maintained by
Microsec Ltd.
