Class announcements and lecture notes will be posted in the following page. http://www.math.tamu.edu/~liangchang/251Spring2016/251.html Prerequisites: MATH 152 or equivalent Course Learning Outcomes This course covers 3-dimensional analytic geometry and vectors, partial derivatives, multiple integrals, and vector calculus. At the end of this course, students should be able to visualize surfaces in 3-dimensional space; apply partial differentiation to extremal problems and to variety of engineering applications; apply techniques of multiple integration to a variety of physical and engineering applications; find potential of conservative vector field and apply various types of Stokes' theorem. Weekly Schedule The (tentative) weekly schedule is posted on the MATH 251 course homepage at http://www.math.tamu.edu/courses/math251/currentsched.html Online Homework Online homework is required in this class and will be completed in WebAssign. http://www.math.tamu.edu/courses/eHomework Quiz Quizzes will be given regularly (almost every week) during Tuesday class, which will cover the material from previous lectures and will be announced in advance.
