The Vice-Chancellor, Mizoram University invites Sealed Tenders from
Registered firms for providing the under mentioned services on contract basis.
1. Security Services
2. House Keeping and Gardening Services.
Prescribed Application Form along with Terms and Conditions may be obtained
from the Administration-II (A)/Estate during office hours or may be downloaded from
the university website www.mzu.edu.in.
Interested persons/firms may submit application to the undersigned on or
before 20.5.2015. and shall be opened on 21.5.2015.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS (SECURITY SERVICES)
1. The cost of Tender Form shall be Rs. 100.00 which is payable in cash at the time of
issuing the tender Form or in the form of DD in favour of Registrar, Mizoram University
which may be submitted along with Tender Form.
2. The sealed cover containing the quotation must be prominently superscribed “Quotation
for Security Services”.
3. The quotationist should quote their rates both in figure and in words. Any overwriting
or correction should be initiated by the quotationist.
4. Period of Contract : 1st June 2015 to 31st May, 2016 with the condition that MZU
shall have the liberty to extend the contract for one year at the same terms and
conditions, depending on the satisfactory performance of the firm/agency.
5. Quotations should be accompanied by wages/salary Provident Fund etc..

9. Supply of Water and other amenities for outsourced staff to be borne by the
agency so selected.
10. The undersigned is not bound to accept the lowest rate and reserves the right to award or
reject the quotations without assigning any reason thereof. Parameter for selection shall
be the sole discretion of MZU.
