Pall PRO Services Protect. Renew. Optimize. Pall PRO Services for Pall Aria™ Mobile Water Treatment Systems A pre-installed, high-production water treatment solution when a supplementary or replacement system is needed When facing water challenges, municipal and industrial water providers require a cost-effective solution to supplement their water needs. Whether caused by emergencies, equipment failure, seasonal demand, or planned system upgrades or replacement, Pall mobile water treatment systems are designed to supplement or replace your system on a permanent or temporary basis. The Pall Aria™ Mobile (PAM) Water Treatment Systems are high-volume, expandable, and automated microfiltration membrane systems in a 12.2 m (40 ft) high cube container. With appropriate site preparation and minimal labor, it can be operational within hours. All that site operators need to do is provide access to the source water, connect the effluent pipe, provide waste disposal, and add power. The system is designed for flexible configurations for higher volume production and to operate in tandem with other water treatment technologies, including RO. Pall Aria™ System Specifications • Highly crystalline Polyvinylidene (PVDF) membranes • Maximum/minimum water temperature: 40°C/4°C (104°F/40°F) The Pall PAM-T Mobile Water Treatment System can be deployed on very short notice. The Pall PAM-C Mobile Water Treatment System is ideal for temporary or emergency applications. Typical Filtrate Quality • Turbidity < 0.1 NTU max, < 0.02 NTU typical • SDI < 3 maximum, < 2.5 typical • Bacteria and particles > 0.1μ removed to non-detectable limits (> 99.999%) How it Works Using the same state-of-the-art hollow-fiber membranes as hundreds of installed Pall Aria™ systems worldwide, the Pall Aria™ mobile system transforms discharge water, ground water, surface water, and secondary effluent into water that is free from harmful bacteria, cysts, and particles. Each PAM unit is designed to produce 400 - 1400 gpm (73 - 320 m3/hr) of membrane filtration quality water for both drinking water, and industrial-use water and can be sized or configured for your exact application needs. Oxidized iron, manganese, and arsenic components can be effectively removed. User-friendly interior design features easy access to all components and open walkways. Value and Benefits of this Service • Quick response time and minimal on-site connections enable the PAM system to quickly be put on-line, minimizing your process disruption and unscheduled downtime • Customized solutions to meet your specific needs • More cost-efficient than conventional mixed media water treatment systems • Compact space-saving design enables flexible installation in your facility Options • Short-term or long-term rental options ranging from a few months to several years • Flexible terms to suit your specific needs, including commissioning and decommissioning of the units and follow up Case Study Industrial Wastewater Re-use: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Application A central waste treatment facility collects water for treatment streams from various sources, including steel plants, the textile industry, the food industry, detergent factories, and more. Challenge The treated water was not meeting the required quality standards and had high TSS / Turbidity values and other variable parameters. As a result, there was not enough treatment capacity due to underperformance of the conventional mixed media systems. The client needed a fast and reliable solution to supply high-quality water to multiple customers /industries. The Solution A Pall Aria™ Microfiltration (MF) water treatment system reliably treated water with high turbidity and TOC, up to 70 NTUs and 15 ppm respectively. The PAM system consistently delivered filtered water quality with turbidity < 0.1 NTUs and SDI < 2. The system was on-site and functional in less than two months. Case Study Potable Water Emergency: City of Calexico, CA Application The city of Calexico, CA needed an emergency solution to meet its potable water needs after an earthquake disrupted the city’s municipal water supply. Challenge Calexico is a city with a population of 39,000 in southeast California, on the border of Mexico. An earthquake of 7.2 magnitude struck Southern California. The earthquake caused damage to the infrastructure that disrupted and significantly reduced the city’s normal water production volume. The City needed a solution to meet critical water needs quickly. The Solution Four Pall Aria™ Mobile Water Treatment Systems were delivered to the city immediately. They were mobilized in less than a day, and began producing water as soon as they were connected, supplying up to four million gallons of potable water per day until the existing municipal system was restored to full operation. The Pall Aria™ Mobile Water Treatment System is readily available to meet our customers’ filtration and separation requirements. Pall PRO Services Protect. Renew. Optimize.
