Mathematics in Education and Industry (MEI) seeks an Industry Programme Leader MEI is an educational charity, committed to advancing education in the field of mathematics, and to promoting links between education and industry in mathematics. The prime responsibility of MEI’s Industry Programme Leader is business development of new contracts with companies, FE colleges and other training providers. The role also involves ensuring that MEI’s work responds to and influences emerging ideas about education and training. This is a senior national position and the Programme Leader will report directly to MEI’s Chief Executive. While the principal focus of the role will be to develop the Industry Programme, the Programme Leader will be expected to contribute to the work of MEI as a whole, as a member of MEI’s Senior Management Team. Initially the appointment will be to 31 August 2013, but success will almost certainly lead to a permanent appointment. The post offers an attractive salary and pension benefits. The Industry Programme Leader may work from home, but as the role is national it will involve some travel. The post is subject to CRB disclosure.
