The University will perform the required tree removal/relocation. No tree removal/relocation is to be included in the bid for this project. 2) Sheets C320 and C322 identify existing electrical vaults which are to be adjusted to be flush with the proposed sidewalk. The proposed sidewalk grade is to be adjusted to match the elevation of the top of the existing electrical vaults. No vault adjustments are to be included in the bid. 3) An AutoCAD file of the existing and proposed improvement information is being made available as requested for the convenience of the bidders. It is to be used at the sole discretion of the bidders. If any discrepancies arise between the bid documents and the provided AutoCAD File, the bid documents will govern. 4) Maintaining full minimum compliance with all aspects of the CDPS Stormwater Construction General Permit (CGP) during active and inactive construction on this project will be the responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor will apply for and hold the CGP for this project until the conditions allowing CGP Inactivation have been met. Developing, adhering to, and maintaining an adequate Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) and all associated documentation and inspection records is a condition of full minimum CGP requirements and the contract. Following award notice, and prior to starting any disturbance activity on the site, the successful bidder will acquire the services of Stormwater Risk Management, LLC (SRM) for three (3) stormwater CGP compliance audits to occur during the anticipated “Active” construction period. UCCS has pre-negotiated a price of $900.00 with SRM for inclusion in your bid proposal. SRM can be reached at (303) 627-7867. SRM’s website is: http://www.stormwaterrm.com/ Three audits will be scheduled by SRM between 28 and 35 calendar days apart. The contractor is encourage to participate in the SRM audit, but is not required to. The UCCS Construction Manager may also attend the site audit. The basic audit services include approximately 2 hours onsite time, 1 hour report preparation/follow-up response, drive time to and from the project, password secured database access to view the performance reports and online corrective action verification reports. The contractor’s SWMP Administrator, or Primary Contact, may select up to 20 additional contacts to receive, view and respond to SRM audit reports. SRM will conduct all stormwater site audits utilizing the Construction Reviewer Inspection Process as adopted by the AGC Colorado Stormwater Administrator Program’s Advisory Board. SRM audit reports and all associated compliance performance scoring, corrective action response status, and other audit information, will be provided to the contractor and the UCCS Construction Manager via email delivery service within 24 hours of the end of the site audit. The contractor’s Primary Contact must maintain a valid business email URL and address during active construction. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to complete the online data entry required to close corrective actions identified during each SRM compliance audit. At the sole discretion of the contractor, additional stormwater compliance assistance may be acquired from SRM at the rate of $75.00 per hour for field services and assistance and $110 per hour for SWMP development (prices valid until October 1, 2013). However, beyond the audit services and pre-arranged pricing listed above, the contractor is in no way obligated to seek any additional outside services from SRM or other service providers.
