EXEMPTIONS/CONCESSIONS:
1.1 The Chief Traffic Services in consultation with the Executive Director Safety and Security may agree not to charge tariffs and charges in cases where charges have been levied erroneously. Criteria for
exemptions/concessions: Parties must make written applications to the Executive Director: Safety and Security; Outlining the reasons why charges were levied incorrectly and why exemptions/concessions
should be considered.
1.2 The Executive Director in consultation with the respective departmental heads may reduce all tariffs and fees as approved by Council for this Directorate up to a maximum of 50% of the actual amounts to be
billed. All applications for such reduction to be submitted in writing to the office of the Executive Director: Safety and Security. All decisions made in terms of such authority to be reported to the Office of the
City Manager.
