Licensure Requirements
n Upon completion of program, students are eligible to
take the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and apply for
initial licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor
(LMHC).
n To pursue the advanced Licensed Professional Clinical
Counselor (LPCC), students must pass the state exam
r Psychoeducational Testing and Appraisal (CNSL 5305)
and then complete 3000 hours of supervised counseling
r Career and Vocational Counseling and Guidance
upon graduation.

n Post graduation, students wanting to obtain school
