A special meeting of the Board of Regents was called to order in open session at 12 noon on
Saturday, August 11, 2012, by Chair Bob Garrett.
Board Members Present:

Regents Carlos Amaral and Ken Schaefer were absent.
The chair called for an executive session to discuss the following items:
Consideration of Individual Personnel Matters Relating to Appointment, Employment,
Evaluation, Assignment, Duties, Discipline, or Dismissal of an Officer or Employee, including
but not limited to, the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Vice President for University
Affairs.
Consultation with Attorney Regarding Legal Advice or Pending and/or Contemplated Litigation
or Settlement Offers, including but not limited to, reported complaints, EEOC complaints,
Christian Cutler v. Baker Pattillo, et al., and policies and procedures.
The executive session ended at 1:20 p.m. and the board meeting was immediately adjourned with
no action taken.
