Participants demonstrate completion by submitting to the UCCS instructor two items: 1. A brief reflective essay (see assignment described in this course syllabus) and 2. A confirmation page from NBPTS that verifies Component 2, 3, and/or 4 e‐portfolio was successfully uploaded to NBPTS. Participants demonstrate a commitment to students’ learning by completing the field test which is an opportunity for professional learning, leadership and reflection on teaching practices. Required: Participants will demonstrate completion by submitting to the UCCS instructor a brief reflective essay (see assignment described in this course syllabus) and the NBPTS confirmation page that verifies the e‐portfolio was uploaded to NBPTS successfully. Outcomes: To identify the impact of the field test and what was learned through the experience that enhances student learning and a teacher’s practice, leadership and professional learning. To strengthen understanding of and preparation for completing Component 2, 3, and/or 4 as a future candidate or as a candidate support provider.
