Since safety begins with the individual, you must take the responsibility for your own personal safety. Crimes should be reported to the campus office during business hours. Crimes may be reported 24 hours a day by calling the Albuquerque Police Department at 242-COPS (2677) for nonemergencies and 911 for emergencies. Wayland Baptist University prohibits the use of illegal drugs or consumption of alcohol on or about the campus. Wayland Baptist University also forbids the possession, use, or distribution of alcohol, illicit drugs, and/or drug paraphernalia by students or employees as a part of any activity of the University.
