Distance education section numbers should correspond to the following patterns:
400-499 Off Campus Face-to-face Instruction
500-549 Internet with in-state students
580-589 Sections for non-resident students living outside the state
of Texas who are taking only electronically delivered
courses that require no on-campus meetings. The course
sections are created by the department, and a hold is
placed on the section. Only eligible students may enroll.
600-649 Hybrid Course - more than 50% online and may require
several on-campus visits
680-689 Sections for non-resident students living outside the state
of Texas who are taking only electronically delivered
courses that require no on-campus meetings. The course
sections are created by the department, and a hold is
