Howdy, If you need to email me (sherry.scarborough@math.tamu.edu), please put your NAME, 141, and SECTION in the SUBJECT line of your emails so I can best help YOU since I have about 440 students. Starting January 29th you will be required to sit in your assigned seat in Math 141. If you have any situation (left-handed, vision issues, crutches/wheelchair, service animals, hearing challenges, etc.) that requires some seating accommodation, you must email me no later than 3pm on Wed January 29, 2016 explaining your situation and about what part of the room you would like to seat (you may not ask for a particular seat number). We will do our best to accommodate your preference. [See Quiz 1 # 17 for more details.] Please make sure you are on track by reading the contents, whether you have been in the class from the start or whether you just added this Math 141 course. The Math 141 Help Sessions are Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 10pm in Blocker 149. The help sessions are a great place to get help with your homework; it is come and go as needed. There are two different Week-In-Reviews (WIR) for Math 141 Mondays: 5 – 7pm in Blocker 169 http://www.math.tamu.edu/~scarboro/141spring2016wir.html Tuesdays: 7 – 9pm in Blocker 102 http://www.math.tamu.edu/~cgin/Spring2016Math141WIR.html Whether you can attend the WIR or not, it is strongly recommended that you work the appropriate WIR problems for that week before attending or looking at the answers. The WIR is a great place to see more example problems presented by Math 141 instructors on the concepts already covered; it is come and go as your time allows. Prof Sherry’s Office Hours are Mondays 3 – 4:30pm and Wednesdays 3 – 4:30pm in Blocker 209. Business Math Tutorial Assistants (BMTA) are Erin and Katie.
