Safety Data Sheets Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) must be readily available for all hazardous chemicals used on campus. Under the new Hazcom 2102 regulations, Material Safety Data sheets (MSDSs) are being phased out and must be replaced with Safety Data sheets by June 1, 2016. ONU has acquired ChemWatch as a chemical safety database to help our campus comply with revised HazCom 2012 regulations, and to facilitate hazardous chemical emergency response. Our ChemWatch subscription includes electronic access to more than 13 million vendor safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemicals. Links to ChemWatch and tutorials are provided below.
