Submission of Corrections
Guidelines
1.
Corrections can be submitted for one or more sections (Part I, Part II or Part III).
2.
The corrections should be submitted on separate paper.
3.
If your last name begins with the letters A-C, then
the corrections which you submit to me should come from Exam II (A-C) Makeup.
If your last name begins with the letters D-K, then
the corrections which you submit to me should come from Exam II (D-K) Makeup.
If your last name begins with the letters L-P, then
the corrections which you submit to me should come from Exam II (L-P) Makeup.
If your last name begins with the letters Q-Z, then
the corrections which you submit to me should come from Exam II (Q-Z) Makeup.
4.
If you submit corrections for any specific section (Part I, Part II or Part III), then you must
work all of the problems in that section on the makeup exam – even those problems in
the section on the makeup exam whose problem numbers correspond to problems on the
original exam for which you have credit.
5.
If in Part II or Part III you reference a formula from a table of integrals, then the table of
integrals needs to be either the table that was handed out with the exam or the table in the
appendix of the text (pages: A-21 through A-31).
6.
The corrections are worth up to 50% of the missed credit.
7.
The corrections are due back to me by Friday, March 14 at 5:00 pm (in my mailbox in
MA 201).
8.
You do not need to return the original exam to me.
