Identify the ethical toolbox and list the tools available to employees and employers
in making business and workplace decisions.
Describe historically how ethical tools, or their absence, have been used and abused.
Identify ethical issues and business solutions in developing a practical decision
matrix.





Bring real world ethics into the classroom.
To apply ethical solutions to assets and personnel in a business setting.
To interact with fellow students and understand different perspectives.
To communicate in writing and orally, clearly and succinctly ethical decisions and
the reasoning to all those who are or maybe impacted by your communication.
Create, prepare, & produce an ethics program with all the components.
14. Attendance Requirements: Be there or be square! Translated, means you need to be
there for the discussions as well as for the instruction. If the mission requires your presence
elsewhere, let me know, ASAP.

16: Course Requirements and Grading Criteria: Each week, students will present ethical
case from “Ethics on the Job” ,and analyze it for the class using “RESOLVEDD”. The
presentation and class discussion will be a graded. There will be a final powerpoint
presentation to the class on an ethical topic of your choosing (unfortunately there are too
many current breaches of ethics to choose from).
17. Tentative Schedule: (Calendar, Topics, Assignments) TAB, but a chapter a week! You
will read the chapter, then the case studies associated with that chapter. Quizzes, and
discussion, will ensue.
This schedule is subject to CHANGE. Assignments are reviewed each class meeting and any
