through the greening of neighbourhoods. The high responses relating to the
maintenance of open spaces referred to the desire residential areas to be well kept.
A significant number of comments focused on the need for cleaner and safer beaches
and the need for greater safety in and around canals and dams through the fencing of
these areas.
