Green Point Athletics Stadium is on track
I am pleased to announce that the Green Point Athletics Stadium will
officially be opened on 18 February 2015.
I will be scheduling a meeting with inter-schools associations to engage with
them about using this facility for their upcoming athletics events.
On behalf of the City of Cape Town, I would like to apologise for the delay
caused by the liquidation of the previous contractor.
The Green Point Athletics Stadium will soon be a world-class facility. We have
already received bookings for an international triathlon championship in
April.
We would like to encourage the public to come forward and book the
stadium for events.
