Dear Colleagues,
I would like to extend to you a personal invitation to attend one of the most important CME activities with which I have
had the opportunity to be affiliated. The name of this activity is Managing the Surge in Diabetes and Obesity: Improving
Outcomes in Diverse Populations. The need for this education comes from the rapid population growth in ethnic populations and the increasing prevalence of the diabetes in these groups, as well as the general population of the United States
– it is an epidemic of a very high magnitude. To this end, we have designed this series to address the needs of clinicians
with diverse patient populations in their practice. However, all clinicians who manage patients with diabetes will find this
activity beneficial and we welcome you to attend.
