The registered nurse is a licensed health care professional able to work in hospitals, clinics, acute care, physicians' offices, emergency centers, long-term care facilities, and home health care agencies with patients from birth through old age .

Graduates of the Associate Degree Nursing program receive an Associate in Applied Science degree, and are qualified to take the National Council Examination for licensure as a Registered Nurse. The Associate in Applied Science degree is designed for students who wish to complete a program with a specific career and technical education objective. Students are required to complete a minimum of thirty (30) credits at Clark College to meet Academic Residency requirement. Students are required to maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.00 to receive this degree.
Note: Some specific requirements of a program may also meet the General Education requirements.
