> Hello, I Just received your question about using aluminum and copper
in electrical lines. It was a great question, and I too wondered why we
still use those materials instead of silver and gold!
I found this website from the NDT resource center. This little article
should explain why we use copper the most in electrical wiring. This
website also has a home page and you may find the home page helpful if
you are curious about other science topics!

To find this article i used Google. I typed "why do we still use copper
and aluminum instead of silver or gold in electrical wiring" into the
search box. The link to the article was at the top of the second page!
www.google.com
This is a wikipedia article and it explains the uses for copper,
silver, and aluminum wiring in the electrical conductivity portion of
the article.

I also found this article by using google. I used the same search terms
as before and it was the eighth article from the top.
I hope this information was helpful! Thank you for using IPL2 and
please use our services again if you have any other questions!
Question # 2
Thank you for your question about when to plant tomatoes! If you would
like to plant your tomato from seeds you should plant them 6-7 weeks
before the last expected frost date. Plant them in flats or pots. You
can move them outside about 2 weeks after the last frost date.

This website is presented by the national gardening association and has
a lot of information on vegetable gardens as we as flower gardens. It
is very well organized and has a search bar on the home page for easy
navigating. This website holds all the information you may need to know
about planting and cultivating your tomatoes.
http://www.growgardentomatoes.com/when-to-plant-tomatoes.html
This next website is helpful because it explains about the proper
temperature you will need to grow your tomatoes. There are also links
within the webpage that will connect you to other pages that may
explain confusing terms such as "frost protection". There are also
other links to general information about tomatoes.

The first link I found by using IPL. I found this website by searching
"gardening" in the top search bar.
www.google.com
I used google to find the second article. I put "when to plant
tomatoes" in the search bar.
Thank you for using IPL2 and good luck with your tomatoes

Question #3
Greetings from IPL2!
thank you for your question on making a homemade sundial!
To make a simple sundial you will need a piece of thin cardboard, tape,
a wooden board and a pen or a maker. You can also use a paper plate, a
pencil, and a straw. After you put the sundial together take it outside
in a sunny place before noon. Go to your sundial every hour to mark the
time on the wooden board.

This set of directions comes from the TLC website. It gives step by
step directions that will help you make the sundial inside of your
house. The website includes measurements you will need to build the
perfect sundial.
http://www.nwf.org/kids/family-fun/crafts/sundial.aspx
This is another option for making a sundial. You will need a paper
plate, a straw, crayons, pencil, push pins, and a ruler. The directions
for making this sundial is right on this website.
www.google.com
To find the first websites I used Google. I typed "how to make a
sundial with kids" in the search box.
www.google.com
To find the second website I also used Google. I typed the same search
terms in the search box, "How to make a sundial with kids" gave me many
different websites to search from.
Thank you for using IPL and have fun making your very own sundial!
