Course Content: The course syllabi are carefully designed to include new technological and multimedia
applications and requisite tools needed to prepare our graduates to be able to excel in a competitive
global environment.
Mode of delivery: The lectures are delivered using multimedia applications and sometimes
complemented with traditional lecture methods. All reading materials, notes, questions for discussion etc
are uploaded on the campus Multimedia Learning System (MMLS) and accessible anywhere and anytime.
Open Interaction: Our faculty encourages debates, discussions and interaction between student-student,
student-faculty, student-industry and faculty-industry. We believe that it is through such open interactions
that innovative minds may be nurtured.
Research: Centres of Excellence such as Centre for Cyberlaw (CC) and Centre for Cyberpreneuship
Development (CCD) involve actively in research in the areas of entrepreneurship and law. Members are
strongly encouraged to secure funding for research purposes and to publish their findings in international
journals.
State-of-the art facilities: Constant upgrades of facilities in the lecture halls, libraries and computer
laboratories facilitate the process of learning and research.

Obtaining an audit license
 Must be a Chartered Accountant of MIA.
Setting up of an audit firm
 Must be a Chartered Accountant of the MIA and an
audit license holder.
Setting up of a branch office
 Branch office of an audit firm must be managed by a
member of MIA.

REQUIREMENTS
 All members of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants
would be eligible to apply for tax agent license
provided that they have a minimum of 5 years practical
experience with government or private sector relating
