I will not be in school Monday or Tuesday. Below are the assignments you should be
working on the next two days while I am absent. You do not need to complete
everything but you should be diligently working and on task the entire time of both
days. Clearly, I have a minimum expectation of what should be completed but you
should focus on trying to understand rather than just getting through the work.
1. Complete lab-“Diffusion Through a Selectively Permeable Membrane” due
Thursday
a. Fill in chart page 3
b. Fill in number 9 page 3
c. Fill in bullets page 4 including coloring and labeling diagram
a. Answer questions 1-13 starting at the bottom of page 4 including coloring
and labeling diagram. Answers should be typed with questions a different
color than answers.
2. Complete lab-“Exploring Osmosis in Cells” due Thursday
a. Filled in investigation proposal
b. Write up on page 3 of lab-typed
3. Complete worksheet titled “Biology Enriched” due Thursday
a. Before doing first page read instructions on back
b. Complete all four pages (seven sides)
4. Complete “Facilitated Diffusion & Active Transport Activity”
b. Go to my website
c. Use head phones-on table in front of desk
d. Go to activities and worksheets
e. Click on Facilitated Diffusion & Active Transport Activity
f. If link on activity sheet does not work go back to website and scroll to
animation section and click on Passive & active transport animation for
first video and Endocytosis & Exocytosis animation for second video.
g. Questions and answers should be typed with questions a different color
than answers.
5. Obtain from sub packet titled “Cell Cycle and Mitosis”
a. Read and fill in answers pages 1-11
6. If you complete the packet in number 3 then obtain “Cell Cycle Worksheet
from sub and complete
7. If you complete the “Cell cycle Worksheet” then obtain the “Cell Cycle and
Cell Division Activity” from sub and begin to perform.
a. Roman numeral II requires the viewing of three animations which can be
viewed by clicking on links in this paper or going to my website, scrolling
to animation section and clicking on following: (please wear headphones)
