Bitopi Advertising Ltd. is the oldest and one of the largest agencies in Bangladesh. Bitopi was
established in 1968 by Mr. Reza Ali, who is now the Chairman of the company. At Bitopi we

The 4V model consists of four elements: I) Volume; II) Variety; III) Variation and IV) Visibility.
Volume: Bitopi Advertising LTD. is an advertising agency and its main clients are mostly
prominent corporations or companies of the country. They are solely responsible for the
advertisement and further promotions for about 20 companies. They are in a contact with their
clients to conduct all the advertisement and this contact can be for a month, for a quarter, for a
year and sometimes more than a year. Next, according to the contact with the clients Bitopi
conducts the activities for which they are responsible, and for the time they are contacted.
Therefore, about the volume of Bitopi Advertisements, having a good number of clients, it can
be said that their volume is moderate. Although at some peak times it gets higher, but as a whole,
they target to keep it moderate so that they can come up with the best out of the amount of work
that has been assigned to them.
Variety: Bitopi Advertisement Limited is exposed to very high type of variety in their work
process. It is because they are in a contact with different corporations and companies and thus
the nature of the contact is different from each other. And as a result, each and every client’s
need is not the same. That is why Bitopi Advertising Limited has very high variety in their work
process.
For example: At present they are in a contact with ‘Samsung’ and ‘brac’ thus they have different
kinds of activities with respect to different kind of product, target customers etc. Also they have
the binding contact for different time periods. Therefore, this can be said that for being exposure
to different customer and their needs, Bitopi Advertising Ltd has a high variety in their work.
Variation: As stated before, Bitopi Advertising LTD. is dealing with a good number of
customers who have dissimilar needs, and thus their variation in demand is high. As a whole, it is
very general for an advertising agency having to deal with different companies and thus different
companies may urge for advertisements of different patterns and duration, so the variation is
very high.
At another stream, in a typical customer care, the demand variation does not fluctuate noticeably
except the peak and off peak hour of the day. Thus variation in this process of a customer care is
very low.
Visibility: Bitopi Advertising LTD is responsibly conducting their business where they have
highly efficient and creative people working with them. As they conduct the advertising work, it
is done through a team who plan and design the overall work. Hence, the visibility is very low.

established in 1968 by Mr. Reza Ali, who is now the Chairman of the company. Some Brands
they had previously helped build are P& G, ANZ Grindlays Bank, Trix etc.
Presently, The Company is in a contact with 20 renowned companies. Looking at their works so
far,it is clearly visible that they have branded and worked for some renowned companies and
similarly they have gathered a huge fame for their creative works. For example, Samsung, one of
the largest cell phone sellers in the world, has contact with Bitopi to conduct the advertising
works in favor of Samsung. Such a responsibility from a huge corporate giant demonstrates that
they not only have received fame, but also customers’ faith and dependability.
About Bitopi’s when attempted to match with the PLC diagram, it is in the maturity stage.
The reason we have signified Bitopi to be in the maturity stage is that they have already acquired
their name by working for the best companies around the country, they have less number of
competitors, price, quality and dependability has been acquired by Bitopi.
Therefore, having the entire characteristic similar to the ‘Maturity Stage’, Bitopi Advertising
Limited can be said to be in the Maturity stage of its business.
