This game is intended for my 6th grade history
class, to supplement the instruction that I give
my students in class. My students are currently
learning about World History and to help
them to grasp the concepts they need to put
this history into context, I have developed this
game. The basic premise is that they will be
asked a series of questions and they will have
to choose the correct answer from several
choices.

For the remainder of the class, we will be
discussing the history of Europe. Europe
has a very long and interesting history,
full of wars and struggles between world
powers. For this class, we will be
focusing on some of the major events
that have taken place in Europe over
time, from epic battles to devastating
plagues, and everything in between…
The Hundred Years War
• Fought from 1337 until 1453
between England and France
• Began when French King
Philip VI tried to steal English
territories in Southwestern
France away from England
• English won many successful
battles with the innovative use
of longbowmen, or long range
archers that could pick off
French forces from afar
• Ended with the English driving
out the French in all territories
