Single-sided Speed Gauging
Single-Side Sensor ES1.0
• The optical sensor head is the core of this fixture. This basic equipment,
ES1.0 consists of a sensor head on stand, a computer unit and a touchsensitive screen. For proof documentation, the models FE2.X; VIII-4 or IX
should be used.
• eso offers speed gauge ES1.0 with a traffic monitoring device with various
measuring applications on proven technology. Since this fixture only
consists of a few components, it offers optimal portability and easy set-up.
An ideal choice for simultaneous traffic speed gauging with a second
device. Users will have access to state-of-the-art technology as this
device's software is regularly updated.

• The single-sided sensor with the radio-triggered camera FE2.4 and
flash unit BE1.1 presently represents the most universal resources
in the fight against speeding. Measuring in inlet curves and in
motorway construction sites with roadway dividers are only some
advantages offered by this equipment. Speeding motorcyclists don't
only endanger you, but also other road users. The single-sided
sensor is especially noted for its optimal detection of motorcycles.
Simultaneous releasing of the front and rear camera is possible by
depressing the key on the remote control. The driver in question
can then be easily linked or unlinked to the photographic evidence

A gauging system proven through the years using "time delay" principle. Its fast

The fixed speed monitoring system of the eso GmbH is the answer to previous
model's high maintenance problems. The light barrier mechanism is wear free,
compared to so-called cable-based measuring systems where the cable is inserted
into the roadway, and in effect is cost-neutralising alternative. Instead, invisible
infra-red light jets into the direction of the selected area, also enabling
simultaneous gauging of both traffic directions.
The cable-based model, wherein the sensors are physically inserted into the
roadway, needs half-yearly maintenance of all gauging points. Lining work, as well
traffic volume subjects the cable-based technology to significant wear & tear and
must then be renewed prematurely.

Usage of state-of-the-art optical technology combined with easy

Camera Unit FE2.X
with Flash Unit BE1.X
The special advantage of the FE2.X is its very light, small housing. The simple
design permits fast setup and dismantling. The Flash Unit BE1.X is a powerful
strobe capable of optimally illuminating the vehicle interior. Equipped with a
mounting plate, this system can be also mounted on a single tripod.
eso extends their portfolio of photography mechanisms with Camera FE2.X with
Flash Unit BE1.X and offers an alternative to the photo mechanism VIII-4
respective IX.

This picture shows the tail installation of the Single-side Sensor
ES1.0 with Camera FE2.4 and Flash Unit BE1.1. The tripods are
separated from the camera rack by a further base. By this
additional basement, the speed measuring system can simply
be pulled out. The drawer is used for keeping the changeable
batteries 12V/3,5Ah with PVC (for Photo mechanism) as well
as the batteries 12V/9,5Ah with PVC and handle (for BE1.1).
The chargers for the batteries 12V/9,5Ah with PVC and handle
(for BE1.1) and the changeable batteries 12 V/3,5 Ah with PVC
(for camera) are built into the car in this version.

The Ford Tourneo connect is similar to the Citroén Berlingo as well as to the
Renault Kangoo, but supercedes them in one aspect. One seat of the rear bank
can be left in place and used with this vehicle.

wooden drawers to house accessories or something similar.
