PCMS

Career Fair

Where are

you

going…

Why a Career Fair?

Three goals:

1.

To learn about the world of work and the kinds of jobs that are out there

2.

To think about what you might want to do after you graduate from high school

3.

To help you choose classes and activities that will help get you to your career goal

How will it work?

• The Career Fair will be Friday, January 29 during an extended Lynx

Life at the end of the school day

• Guest speakers are coming to PCMS to talk to you about their careers – they are parents and community members. All of them are volunteering their time!

• You will attend 2 presentations (25 minutes each) where you will learn about different careers

• Today you will hear about the different options. Next Tuesday you will choose which presentations to attend.

*There are lots of options, so it’s a good idea to take some notes for yourself in your booklet so next week you remember what you’d like to see.

HERE ARE YOUR
