Student 1: What’s with all the potatoes?
Parent 1: Well, this is a cold country and it rains a lot – the best weather to grow potatoes.
Everyone can grow potatoes because they are in the ground. We have to eat what we grow. So
we love to eat our own home-grown potatoes. We have to think creatively about how we prepare
them, which is why we have; Boiled potatoes, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, stewed
potatoes, fried potatoes, caramelized potatoes, jacket potatoes, potato soup, potato gratin,
potato frittata, potato pizza….
Wiggles in Potato Van are singing/miming song and actions as STS sing a few lines

Student St Th: And did you know? Remember Abdul who you met in Egypt with his camels?
Well Nick knows him! He saw it on the blog and he found him on facebook and they’ve been
chatting. Abdul took Nick on a camel trip in 2010 and they had a great time. They’re good mates!
