TIMELINE: This project will give you the opportunity to explore the changes in Texas throughout its history.
A. REQUIREMENTS: This project must be in timeline format. You may have each event placed in order
on an actual timeline or you may place all entries in a notebook in sequential order.

15 events out of the 40 listed below must be included in your timeline.
 Some events will include a month, day and year. Others, noted for you, will only require a year.
You must identify all dates listed.
 Each event you choose must be included in your project. The dates they occurred must also be
included, as well as a short description of each event.
 If you choose the notebook, you must include a small timeline at the front of your notebook.
 Most dates can be found in your textbook. If you have any issues, ask teacher for assistance.
 Some illustrations may be copied or printed from the computer, but additional work must be
done to enhance and personalize these illustrations. Ex. Color, cut, paste and matting. The whole
page should be covered to receive full credit.
