High School Suggested District Reading List

District Expectations: Novels used for instruction should come from the district suggested list.
Teachers should strive to choose at least one novel that meets the CCSS LL expectations. If a teacher
wishes to use a novel that is not on the list, the rubric in the link above should be submitted to the
Department Chair for approval.
