Honors classes use a weighted 100/4.5 scale and AP/DE classes use a weighted 100/5.33 scale Because of the level of difficulty of their subject matter, Physics, Calculus, and Calculus II are considered Honors courses. For the 2013-2014 academic year, Advanced Placement (AP) courses are offered in English Composition, English Literature, U.S. History, Biology, Chemistry, Spanish Language, and Spanish Literature. AP English Composition, AP English Literature, and Advanced Grammar & Composition are also Dual Enrollment (DE) courses. The grade and credit for this project are recorded separately on the student transcript.
