• I carried out my research by going on certain websites and also using my common knowledge. The information that I have had to find out is what the two companies actually do as a company and their purposes. For this piece of work in particular, I have had to find out how both businesses are ethical. I have done this by looking at certain review websites.

• Thorpe Park is in Chertsey, Surrey, England. It has the slogan ‘ The Nations Thrill Capital’ and it opened May
24th 1979. There is only one Thorpe Park in England and it is one of the most popular theme parks in England. It has such rides as: The Swarm, Stealth, Saw, Nemesis
Inferno and Colossus. They have a resort inside Thorpe
Park that family's can book and stay in. There is a nice range of food and drink that you can have if you are staying over night, such as: Roast and Relish, Desperado’s
Mexican Cantina, 360 Bar and Grill, Battered Fish and
Chips and many, many more.

• Galliano’s is a small Pizza takeaway place along
Gaywood in King’s Lynn. It has a 5 star hygiene rating and It sells all kinds of different Pizza’s with different toppings on. The pizza’s are usually cheap so it is good if you are hungry when you are out. They also deliver pizza’s to people’s houses which is really handy.

• Both of the businesses have a couple of comparisons.
These are that they both sell products to the customer and they both sell food. Galliano's obviously sell food as they are a pizzeria but Thorpe Park also do because they own restaurants inside of the park. Both companies along with every other company in the world, sell products to people. You cannot be a company without doing so.

The reason that I chose Thorpe Park was because the whole class had to use them as an example for our coursework. We chose this because they are a good template to build around and there are lots of different functional areas which meant that we gained a good understanding of what different parts there are to a business. We also visited the park as a school so we have first hand information about all of the rides because we have either seen them in person or we have rode them.
The reason that I chose to write about Galliano’s is because it is a local company that I regularly purchase food from when I am out. This means that I own a little knowledge about what the business is about.

Thorpe Park are meeting there aims. One of these aims is that they are updating their rides. This means that they are bringing out new rides regularly. This keeps the visitors happy because it means that they will want to visit the park to try out the new rides.
Another way that Thorpe Park are meeting their aims is that they are updating their park. This means that they are bringing out new attractions, restaurants and gift shops.

Thorpe Park are meeting there objectives. One of the objectives that they are meeting is that they are creating a new TV advert each year. Each year they bring out a new advert about a new ride. This is because at least one new ride is built each year.
The other objective that Thorpe Park are meeting is that they are building a new park each year. Thorpe Park most recent roller-coaster that has been built is Swarm.

• Thorpe Park didn’t meet the objective of completing their accommodation building by 2013. They had originally had the ‘Crash Pad’ on site. This was supposed to be their accommodation building but they were not satisfied with it so a year later (in 2014) they built
‘Thorpe Shark’. This is now their new accommodation building.
