STEP 4 RUBRIC ADJUSTMENT
Have you ever given an oral presentation?
What are you going to be graded on?
What is the most important part of a presentation?
Brainstorm with the people next to you only.
I will call on people around the room to deliver what
their neighbors think the class will be graded on.
STEP 4 RUBRIC ADJUSTMENT
This next paper tells you exactly how you will be
graded on your oral report.
There are a few choices we get to make along
the way, so listen with your pencil out.

• Please find your COMPARISON CHART paper.
• With the help of the class representative, we are going
to fill in the blanks for the United States.
• We are going to avoid one word answers; add additional
details if the answer seems to be one word.
• Class representative, do not move on to the next box
until you have a class consensus on an answer for the
first box.

• I will be putting you in
groups shortly.
• Once you have your
country and your
group, I will stop
broadcasting to your
computers. At that
time, you will need to
log out and move to be
near your groups.
• If I see that you are not
focused on research,
you will be reassigned
to a new country for
your report.
• Your new assignment
will be a solo report
instead of a group
report.
