Nevada lawmakers have approved a bill that would ban powdered alcohol in the state. Assembly members voted to approve SB464 on a 34-8 vote on Friday. The measure passed unanimously out of the Senate earlier in April.

The state Liquor Authority voted Wednesday to license a high-end wine store on Liberty Street, over the objections of a nearby liquor store owner who argued that it would erode his business and violate a prohibition on alcohol sales near schools and churches.

The North Carolina Senate Finance Committee passed House Bill 909 on 27 May 2015, which would make several significant changes to North Carolina alcoholic beverage control ("ABC") laws.
