The most famous thing he did was trying to hold back the sea in an effort to prove to his advisors that he was not the all-powerful monarch they believed him to be. Net week you will be carrying out an investigation to find which material is the best for holding back some water. I showed you how the test would work today and you had the opportunity to discuss your initial ideas. For your Science homework this week, you need to copy up the notes which you made in your groups this afternoon. Please set out your work using sub-titles (copy them from the sheet) and put the notes into full sentences. When you’ve finished, please also check for the usual handwriting issues, capital letters, spelling and that your work makes sense. As you will carry out the investigation next week, your work should be in the future tense. Also, please gather some things you would like to test. Your group should choose the same number of materials as people in the group – a group of 5 will test 5 materials for example. You should have already agreed who is going to bring in what next week. I will bring ________________________________ If it turns out that you can’t bring in the material which has been agreed, please swap with another member of your group.
