JOB DESCRIPTION Sales Executive Inview Technology is a leading developer of technology and systems for digital TV Television is evolving from broadcast TV to encompass new platforms, delivery mechanisms and use paradigms. JOB SUMMARY The purpose of the role is to sell the companies software solutions and services to the right target partners. The job holder will focus on specific territories in which he or she will be responsible for developing customer leads and relationships and turning these into long term clients. There will be specific sales targets which the individual will be expected to meet or exceed. The role will involve significant international travel. The new recruit will form part of a committed and successful sales team, who are now doing business on most continents globally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Exceeding revenue targets Developing a sales pipeline in order to acquire customers Understanding the customer requirement and how Inview’s technology can meet and surpass their needs. Negotiating contracts to a successfully conclusion by creating a win-win for Inview and its customer Professionally managing the accounts to build long-term, loyal and profitable customer relationships for the company Obtaining additional knowledge and visibility through attending industry events. Gaining in-depth knowledge of the competition and professionally representing Inview to its customer base. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Successful track record in selling in the B2B market Demonstrable evidence of achieving sales against targets Experience (minimum 2 years) within the set top box or related industry e.g. Pay TV, Telco, IPTV Experience of working with major service providers/ broadcasters / pay TV operators A proven track record of delivering complex, service based sales success Ability to understand technology and interface with engineers / operations to set-out the customer requirements and ensure their needs are met Proven experience of account handling and managing long term customer relationships DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Experience of selling in global Pay TV markets SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent presentation and communication skills Proactive and enthusiastic approach with a strong desire to learn Ability to work as part of a team to deliver the teams joint sales targets Excellent attention to detail
