CPT Review
The CPT is a Bell Ringer where you will have 5 minutes at each off the 11 stations to conduct a task and
write the answer down in the answer booklet. You will not be able to go back to stations you have already
completed. You need to stay focused and have a clear mind.
Unit 1 Diversity
Station 1: Dichotomous Key
Station 2: Viral Replication
Unit 2 Genetics
Station 1: Pedigree
Station 2: Meiosis, Test Cross, Punnet Square
Unit 3 Evolution
Station 1: Natural Selection – Graphs
Station 2: Isolation Mechanisms
Unit 4 Human Systems
Station 1: Labeling Organs
Station 2: Digestive Process
Unit 5 Plants
Station 1: Label Plant Parts
Station 2: Monocots and Dicots
All Units Together
Station 1: How are all Units connected?
To prepare yourself, practice problems from the textbook that involve the topics above. Make sure you know the
definitions of all the terms involved and how they are related to each other. Focus on the stuff you forgot.
