InterFaculty Improv Night 5
Organizing Committee Application
2010-2011
UofC’s Very Own “Who’s Line Is It Anyway” Event
This will be the 5th annual InterFaculty Improv Night (IFIN).
IFIN is a theatre sports competition between undergraduate
faculties. 6 teams maximum will compete in various acting
challenges. Each team will try to play for points to take home
the IFIN trophy at the end of the evening. Depending on which
faculties are participating, they will be grouped into appropriate
teams.
Volunteering as part of the IFIN5 organizing committee is a great opportunity for
leadership development. It is an easy team to engage in event organization tactics,
as this event has been planned already for the past 4 years. The fun is tweaking and
designing the improv games, and the challenge is to recruit students from all
faculties to get involved in this fun, entertaining night.
Suggested teams:
1. Business / Law / Education
2. Engineering
3. Medicine / Vet Med
4. Nursing / KNES
5. Science
6. Arts (C&C / Fine Arts / Humanities / Social Sci) / Social Work
IFIN5 will be tentatively on January 21, 2011, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Doors open at 5pm.
The commitment of the organizing committee is 20-40 hours:
 Occasional online meetings prior to November 2011*
 Completion of essential tasks*
 Recording status updates on shared Google Docs
