(Students know their username and passwords) SCHOOL EVENTS -Author/Illustrator Gary Harbo will be here next week to present and teach kids from each grade about writing and cartoon drawing. - Hello Parents, The kids had another mini-break right after their Christmas break. Hopefully, the weather allows us to get back to our normal five-day school weeks. I know many students continue to work on their math facts at home, but I have seen a dip in math fact scores the last few weeks and would like to reemphasize practicing math facts at home with your child. This practice may be flash cards, timed quizzes, verbal facts, or even if they go online to practice. Since we are back to our normal switching for Math, students should be bringing their homework home to complete on a regular basis. We are also starting a new Reading Log in our class that will be turned in every two weeks. The Reading Log will be located in their Homework binder and there is a space for a parent to sign each week indicating the students read the amount of minutes written. I hope everyone is able to get through this cold period and if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me anytime.
