stainless steel constant torque type hose clamps. Radiator is mounted in front of the
engine. Reinforced plastic molded sucker type fan and fabricated shroud; low coolant
probe in surge tank.
Heavy-duty welded type air cooler has a welded construction aluminum core and formed
aluminum tank construction. Silicone rubber molded hoses with stainless steel constant
torque type hose clamps; solid mounted in front of radiator.
Parker Eco III XL-13" / dry element, 2-stage filtration type with safety element; air
restriction / service indicator on air filter outlet; air intake includes 90°ram air hood with
water / snow separator located approximately 14" above cab, LH side; aluminized stack.
Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) & Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR); stainless steel
exhaust tubing wrapped with insulation; DPF & SCR packaged above frame rail behind
the cab w/curved elbow outlet to left side.
Rectangular plastic tank, 10 gallon capacity, 18” tall, 22.5” deep, 8” wide, with 12” wide

heat resistant corrugated plastic loom. Supplied with Flaming River battery disconnect

FMVSS 121 dual circuit ABS / 4-channel type air braking system, color coded nylon
tubing, quick connect/disconnect brake line fittings, AD9-IS Air Dryer, Remote mounted
manifold with petcocks for all air tanks, stainless steel braided / Teflon lined air
compressor discharge line. Three (3) steel air tanks are located inboard of frame rails;
6,360 cu. in. minimum air reservoir capacity. Includes low-pressure warning light and
alarm when air brake system pressure drops below 60 PSI.
Bendix / 4-channel cab mount system with wheel end sensors, dash mounted indicator
lamp and code check switch. The 4S/4M ABS system configuration maintains four (4)
wheel end sensors and four (4) electronically controlled modulator valves, one (1) at each
wheel end, or two (2) per axle. Data links are configured for SAE J1587.
Cab is mounted to four (4) insulated rubber points; two (2) front hinge and two (2) rear
mountings, one (1) latching; each located more centrally off chassis centerline to reduce
torsional input from frame twist; gives cab longer life and provides a better ride.
Tilt cab, 95.68" wide x 58" deep x 64" high, forward of front axle. A 45" floor height from
ground on both sides of cab is provided with standard front tires. Design provides seating
for driver and one (1) passenger. All panels are 2-sided aluminum for corrosion
resistance. No rivets in cab front skin.
Reinforced 14-gauge floor is welded to sill sides, making a solid foundation. Rear cross
sills form a rigid box section when welded to floor panel and side members.
1-Piece, 16-gauge aluminum panel is formed with windshield cutout and welded in- place,
provides improved sealing against water leaks.
1-Piece, full width of cab interior, molded plastic under-tray, to house cab HVAC ducts and
chassis and cab electrical system components in modular assemblies.
Molded and contoured 1-piece panel design with a textured, non-glare Gray finish for a
durable scratch and corrosion resistant surface. Removable instrument and switch panels
provide easy service access.
The roof is comprised of reinforced 16-gauge single-wall construction. 2-Sided, 16-gauge
aluminum panel is utilized for corrosion resistance.
Insulated interior of roof and back walls; rigid closed cell foam with R9 factor exterior of
floor, rear of cab slope and walls and roof of engine compartment for heat resistance and
acoustics.
Doors have galvaneal steel fabricated and welded frames for strength and rigidness; 1piece, 16-gauge aluminum outer skin is bonded to the frame; no rivets or outer
reinforcement stiffeners in door construction. Hinges are 34” length channel formed piano
style, bolted to door and cab frame; hinge pins are stainless steel for corrosion resistance;
opens 90°; entry opening is 42” wide x 60.87” tall for ease of entry / exit; fixed lower view
window, 9.13” wide x 19.37” tall; manual roll-down main window; single door seal around
bottom half; double door seal around top half. Windows are bronze tinted, tempered,
safety glass in black anodized aluminum extruded frames. Roll-down window is manually
operated by a handle inside the door; window regulator is a push / pull cable allowing
window to roll down completely.
Flush mounted paddle type latching door handles on inside and outside with keyed locks.
Horizontal axis, push / pull sliding type.
Interior painted same color as cab exterior. Lower has a 1-piece inner door panel in
matching gray interior color, bolt on armrest with door pull pocket.
Front wheel mud flaps, with anti-spray rubber molded material mounted on front fenders,
and inner fender splash shields.
Lucerix 19” x 8” heated, electric, split lens with turn signal. Four (4) way motorized mirror,
split single flat lens over convex, external turn signal on outer side, with black plastic
molded housing.
Hydraulic Power-Packer™ cab tilt system with manual pump, raise / lower cab control lever
with automatic lock type latch; a single double-acting hydraulic cylinder, with built-in
velocity fuse for safety, tilts the cab to 60°. Pump is mounted to bracket above fender over
left / street side front axle, behind cab; pump handle / lever mounted inside of cab behind
left seat.
Bronze tinted and laminated safety type in rubber locking channel for a watertight seal.
Flat and split on cab center; two (2) pieces 31.68" high x 43.18" wide with a total of 2,700
sq. ins. of viewable glass area, measuring 72" from ground to bottom of glass, for
increased visibility.

Electric 2-speed wipers include one (1) gallon fluid reservoir, with two (2) wet-arm type,
18" long wipers on 25" long wet arms with washers.
One(1) piece; tinted tempered safety type in rubber locking channel; measuring 19.38" tall
x 47.38" wide, with a total of 900 sq. ins. of viewable glass area.
Entry assist handle inside cab, bolted to “A” pillar post above and below dash. One (1)
Aluminum finish, on each side; 18” long inside cab behind door.
Console provides DIN mounting for an AM/FM/CD radio with weatherband, two (2)
document / clipboard storage compartments, one (1) each side, mounting locations for
cab fans and 2-way radio, houses dome and map lights and is full width of cab interior.
Packard “GXL” wire, color-coded; engine start / stop key control ignition switch on left side
only; 12-volt negative ground; engine/transmission/ABS electronic diagnostic connector
SAE J1587 & J1939. Ignition, battery and ground wires for 2-way radio power feed routed
to and capped in overhead console; two (2) spare rocker switches; plug-in relays, warning
alarms and flasher in dash. Capped, power point connection plug is included. Wiring
harnesses include sealed “Deutsch” twist-lock bulkhead connectors, Packard “WeatherPack” and “Metri-Pack” connectors that provide positive, locking connections. These
connectors are used extensively throughout the chassis electrical system. Hard shell
grommets provide sealed routing of harness through cab and dash, bringing harness
connections inside cab and eliminating exposure to outside elements. Circuit breakers are
automatic reset, are conveniently located below cab dash and provide protection from
overloads. De-energizing the circuit and correcting the fault can reset breakers. Dedicated
electrical circuits provided for truck body and electrical equipment installations.
Ametek, NGI Gauges (SAE J1939); round 3.38" tachometer and speedometer with
message center display including: odometer; two (2) trip odometers; engine hour meter;
diagnostic mode, NGI warning message. Balance of gauges are round 2": dual needle air
pressure; Fuel level gauge integrated with DEF level light bar; engine coolant temperature;
engine oil pressure; voltmeter. All 2" gauges except air pressure have internal
driver warning lights. Audible warning alarm for low air pressure, alarm and light for
stop engine. Sixteen (16) light bar, indicator lights for left / right turn arrows, high beam
headlights, check transmission, check engine, stop engine, engine pre-heat , park brake,
ABS malfunction, DEF warning, neutral, water in fuel, high exhaust sensor temperature,
DPF restriction, ATC and low air pressure. Warning alarms are continuous single tone.
Switches have raised bezels to reduce accidental actuation and integral ISO legend
identification with LED back lighting, English text on actuator to identify switch, and where
required a function indicator light to reflect system status.
Two (2) outboard mounted Large Single Rectangular (LSR) 5" x 8" halogen headlights
mounted in a chrome bezel and housing, High-Low beams and Daytime Running Lights;
LED lighting with Polycarbonate Lens; two (2) amber side marker lights, five (5) amber ICC
clearance lights mounted above windshield, two (2) front turn signals mounted behind front
bumper; stop, tail, backup, turn signals and clearance lights on separate circuits.
Two (2) interior lights operate as either dome or map lights and are located in overhead
console. Dome light automatically operated by a door open switch or manually operated
with an override switch. Map lights have individual switches, left and right side.
Steering wheel, center button activated, with two (2) single tone, 12-volt electric horns
mounted behind bumper.
Warn model, or equal; rated for 107 dB(A).
Air-Ride Suspension, variable shock, 4.25" vertical adjustment, 6” fore and aft adjustment,
single locking slide position 20” wide cushion, multi-position recline 23.5” high backrest.
Cushion height from ground is 59.25” full up, 55” full down. Asphalt Confetti cloth Fabriform cushions and mid-high back w/fixed lumbar support. Air valve mounted @ front of
seat base.
2-way adjustable; 25" space between inside door and center console on both sides. Seats
are cloth Asphalt Confetti.
Two (2) shoulder / lap style assemblies with automatic tensioning type retractors and 7"
shoulder height adjustment; pushbutton release, nylon weave belts are black in color.
Left and Right hand padded, with map or document retainers, same gray color as cab
interior vinyl.
Engine enclosure padded with gray acoustic vinyl material. Headliner & back walls of cab
covered with hardboard backing phosphate carpeting.

Two (2) Salem type vents are mounted on cab roof. Vents provide directional airflow and
are manually operated to open and close.
System provides increased driver comfort by drawing re-circulated air and effectively
distributing it through air ducts integral to the dash to four (4) large adjustable vents, two
(2) each side. Re-circulated air enters through heater inlet, entering cab interior through
the heater and vent openings. Heater/defroster with 3-speed blower; SAE J638 rated for
31,600 BTU / HR at 100°F, outlets directed to floor on both sides of cab.
Integral with cab dash HVAC system. Condenser mounted in front of the radiator. A/C
system is R134a refrigerant, 33,000 BTU/430 CFM capacity.
Cab protected with Acrylic Urethane (low VOC, high solids) paint. The paint assures a “wet
look” and “high gloss” distinctness of image that lasts for years and provides long range
benefits such as: durability and resistance to brittleness and chipping; UV absorbers ensure
high gloss retention; chemical resistance helps finish withstand heavy use and harsh
environments; and high graffiti resistance characteristics.
Interior painted same as the exterior (lower cab color, if 2-tone cab is selected). Panels for
instruments, warning lights, switches and service access are Gray “Pearlstone” molded
plastic. Steering wheel, steering wheel column, rocker switches, instrumentation bezels
and chassis controls are Black. Overhead console is powder-coated Gray color.
DUPONT IMRON 5000 CAB PAINT – Polyurethane high gloss finish
Standard “CCC” chassis colors are Dupont; White / N0007, matching cab interior and
exterior; Gloss Black / N0001, engine cover, fenders, chassis frame assembly, & front
bumper; White, black, or gray powder coated steel disc wheels available.
