Background Information:
Knowing about different cultural groups will help you make connections with your
community, your country, and our world. You will compare and contrast two cultural
groups and the history of their development and their reaction to their environment.
You will create a poster presentation that will do the following.
State a position on how two groups responded to challenge(s) of their
environment and then analyzes how the two groups’ responses are similar
or different in a final paragraph
STEPS:
1.) Research Mesopotamia and Egypt and how they responded to their
environment.
2.) Provide background information on how your group responded to the
environmental challenges. Provide multiple examples to support your
similarities and differences. Create a large poster Venn diagram (colored,
neat, names of civilizations, similarities and differences, pictures etc.)
3.) In a paragraph write an analysis of how the two groups’ responses were
similar or different based on your own assessment of your information
4.) Make reference (specific word for word with citation) to where you got the
information. Need 3 sources minimum and a bibliography.
