People’s social status, social roles, norms, values
and identity will generally depend on whether
they are classified as masculine or feminine.
Sociologists argue we learn these characteristics
through gender-role socialisation.
We have already looked at how family and
education influence gender roles, but what about
the other agents of socialisation? Do they not
influence gender?

You must explain back to the class how these agents influence
gender role socialisation. Use the sheets and your own knowledge
to help you. Include any studies which were used!

challenge each of the above and argue why they do not influence
