Joseph was a carpenter,

He was such a good and honest

In a dream an angel came,
Told of this special day,
Mary his betrothed would bear a

Jesus Christ, born to man!
Joseph had a special

Joseph cast his doubt aside,
To raise this holy child
Mary soon his blessed bride
would be.
Said the angel in a dream
‘Jesus the chosen King,
He will reign supreme eternally’.

He came down to Earth from
Heaven,
Who is God and Lord of all,
And his shelter, was a stable,
And his cradle was a stall.
With the poor and meek and lowly,
Lived on Earth, our saviour holy.

The Gift
Over two thousand years ago,
